Checking the function of the hydraulic valves




- Ignition on.
- Activate the hydraulic unit's valves.
A ticking sound should be audible.
If no ticking sound is heard from any of the hydraulic unit's valves, this indicates an internal problem in the control module. Replace the control module.

Yes - Diagnostic trouble code (DTC) information

No - FAULT FOUND

Diagnostic trouble code (DTC) information
The fault-tracing indicates that the control module has previously detected a fault but that the fault is no longer active.
If the diagnostic trouble code (DTC) recurs, replace the brake control module (BCM).
