Diagnostic Trouble Code (DTC) Information






Diagnostic trouble code (DTC) information SRS-B1A5568

Condition
The Supplemental restraint system module (SRS) is continuously supplied with necessary information from the Central electronic module (CEM) via CAN communication.
The diagnostic trouble code (DTC) is stored if the control module detects that:
- The Central electronic module (CEM) transmits error messages regarding collision signals.
- Incorrect value runs longer than 2.5 seconds.
The control module's test for the diagnostic trouble code (DTC) starts in the event of:
- Ignition position II and III.

Note! The control module can only detect the fault once the test has been started and the diagnostic trouble code (DTC) is stored when the conditions are met.

- None.

Possible source
- Short-circuit to supply voltage in the cable.
- Short-circuit to ground in the cable.
- Short-circuit in connections.
- Open-circuit in the cable.
- Contact resistance or oxidation in the terminals.
- Incorrect voltage supply to the supplementary restraint system (SRS).
- Damaged supplemental restraint system module (SRS).
- Damaged central electronic module (CEM).
