Internal Fault
Internal fault
Replacing a component
The Right Camera Module (RCM) has registered an internal fault.
If the fault is intermittent, it has been registered previously but is no longer present. Intermittent faults may be due to interference at start up of the Right Camera Module (RCM) or may be a different type of fault that occurs on different occasions. The fault is evaluated depending on how it occurs. If the fault persists, replace the Right Camera Module (RCM).
In the event of a permanent fault, replace the Right Camera Module (RCM).
Hint: The Left Camera Module (LCM) and Right Camera Module (RCM) are not available as replacement parts. The respective door mirror must be replaced.
Remedy as necessary.

- Internal components in the Right Camera Module (RCM) do not work.
The control module's test for the diagnostic trouble code (DTC) starts in the event of:
- Engine running.
Note! The control module can only detect the fault once the test has been started and the diagnostic trouble code (DTC) is stored when the conditions are met.
