Fault-Tracing Information

Fault-tracing

Initializing the position of the window
For automatic window operation to work, the Driver door module (DDM)/Passenger door module (PDM) must sense the window's end position and the resistance the window lift experiences when it moves the window. Therefore, it is often sufficient to manually raise the window to its end position, with the control in the vehicle, in order to initiate it. The window may need moving to its lower end position.
In some cases, it may be necessary to perform an automatic initiation. During automatic initiation, the control module updates both resistance and end position.

Warning! During automatic initiation, the window is pushed up to its end position with great force, and this causes a pinching risk.

Run an initialization by clicking the VCT2000 symbol.
