Diagnostic Trouble Code (DTC) Information
Diagnostic trouble code (DTC) information
Condition
The power windows in the rear doors are provided with Hall sensors that measure the rotation speed for each power window and thus determines window position. If one of the Hall sensors is defective, the automatic window operation, AUTO-UP or AUTO-DOWN, does not work for the relevant window.
The diagnostic trouble code (DTC) is stored if the control module detects that:
- Voltage on the signal cable is too low.
- Incorrect value lasts longer than 25 seconds.
The control module's test for the diagnostic trouble code (DTC) starts in the event of:
- Control module supplied with power.
Note! The control module can only detect the fault once the test has been started and the diagnostic trouble code (DTC) is stored when the conditions are met.
Substitute value
- The control module blocks automatic window operation.
Possible source
- Short-circuit to ground in the power supply cable.
- Moisture and/or oxidation in terminals.
Fault symptom[s]
- Electrical operated window/No/reduced/incorrect function
