Diagnostic trouble code (DTC) information PAC-B12C019

Condition
Parking Assistance Camera (PAC) monitors current power consumption for the side view camera. The power consumption is expected to vary between a special interval.
The diagnostic trouble code is stored if the control module detects:
- Incorrect power consumption.
The control module's test for the diagnostic trouble code (DTC) starts in the event of:
- Ignition switch position II.

Note! The control module can only detect the fault once the test has been started and the diagnostic trouble code (DTC) is stored when the conditions are met.





Substitute value
- Camera is disconnected for the rest of the driving cycle.

Possible source
- Loose connection or oxidation in connections to side view camera.
- Open circuit or short-circuiting on cable to side view camera.
- Damaged side view camera.
- Side view camera missing.
- Damaged Parking Assistance Camera (PAC).
