Diagnostic Trouble Code (DTC) Information
Diagnostic trouble code (DTC) information
Condition
The Driver/Passenger door module (DDM/PDM) powers the potentiometers for position sensing of the door mirror.
The diagnostic trouble code (DTC) is stored if the control module detects that:
- Voltage on the signal cable is too low.
The control module's test for the diagnostic trouble code (DTC) starts in the event of:
- Control module supplied with power.
Note! The control module can only detect the fault once the test has been started and the diagnostic trouble code (DTC) is stored when the conditions are met.
Substitute value
- The control module stops powering the potentiometers.
Possible source
- Short-circuit to ground in the power supply cable.
- Moisture and/or oxidation in terminals.
Fault symptom[s]
- Door mirrors/Electrical adjustment does not work
