Diagnostic Trouble Code (DTC) Information

Diagnostic trouble code (DTC) information

Condition
The Driver/Passenger door module (DDM/PDM) powers the motors for the central locking and blocked lock position via a common output.
The diagnostic trouble code (DTC) is stored if the control module detects that:
- The current strength is too low on the output when activating/deactivating the central locking.
- The current strength is too low on the output when activating/deactivating the blocked lock position.
- The current strength on the output is too high when NO locking command is given.
The control module's test for the diagnostic trouble code (DTC) starts in the event of:
- Control module supplied with power.

Note! The control module can only detect the fault once the test has been started and the diagnostic trouble code (DTC) is stored when the conditions are met.

Substitute value

- All the control module's outputs for powering the lock motors are activated.
- Power supply, folding of door mirror and power supply, motor blocked lock position split cable inside control module. Therefore, perform the following on the control module: Function for folding and power adjustment of door mirrors blocked to prevent unintentional locking of the vehicle.

Possible source
- Open-circuit in the power supply cable.
- The voltage feed cable is short-circuited to voltage.
- Contact resistance, oxidation or poor contact in connections.

The DTC may also be generated for the following reasons, which are first detected/handled by another DTC/other DTCs:
- Power supply, motor blocked lock position has an open-circuit or short-circuit to voltage.
- Power supply, motor central locking has an open-circuit or short-circuit to voltage.

Fault symptom[s]
- Locking/unlocking/Central locking does not work
- Door mirrors/Electrical adjustment does not work
- Door mirrors/Folding does not work
