- Check the cable harness with regard to short circuit to ground or voltage.
- Check the physical lock.
Check to see if the diagnostic trouble code (DTC) recurs.

Yes - Replacing the control module

No - DONE

Replacing the control module
The DTC indicates a damaged component in the rear door control module.
Replace the control module. Check that the fault has been rectified by performing a new test for the DTC.
