Diagnostic Trouble Code (DTC) Information

Diagnostic trouble code (DTC) information

Condition
The control module in the relevant rear door powers the central locking and child safety lock on a common pole via a relay. The control module left rear door/right rear door (LDM/RDM) supplies the control module driver's door/passenger door (DDM/PDM) with information about status of the relay.
The diagnostic trouble code (DTC) is stored if the control module detects that:
- The voltage is too low.
- The voltage is too high.
- The relay has jammed.
The control module's test for the diagnostic trouble code (DTC) starts in the event of:
- Activation of central lock.
- Activation of child safety lock.

Note! The control module can only detect the fault once the test has been started and the diagnostic trouble code (DTC) is stored when the conditions are met.

Substitute value
- Other outputs for powering the lock motors activated.

Possible source
- Short-circuit to ground.
- Short-circuit to supply voltage.
- The relay has jammed.
