Fault-tracing

Checking the diagnostic trouble codes (DTCs)
Power supply, folding of door mirror and power supply, motor blocked lock position split cable inside control module. Therefore this fault code is always generated in pairs with corresponding fault code for voltage feed to motor, blocked lock position.
Sometimes, the DTC may also be generated due to an error that initially must be detected/handled by another DTC/other DTCs. Check that DTC(s) are generated in the control module for the following faults:
- Power supply, folding of door mirror has short-circuit to ground.
- Power supply, common lock motor has short-circuit to voltage or open-circuit.
- Power supply, folding of door mirror has short-circuit to voltage or open-circuit.
Perform fault tracing first according to this/these DTC(s). Return to this fault tracing if no relevant DTCs are found, or if the fault persists.

Fault trace power supply, folding of door mirrors regarding:
- Short-circuit to supply voltage.
- Open-circuit in the cable.
- Contact resistance, oxidation or poor contact in connections.
Fault trace power supply, motor blocked lock position regarding:
- Short-circuit to supply voltage.
- Open-circuit in the cable.
- Contact resistance, oxidation or poor contact in connections.
