Condition
The central electronic module (CEM) communicates with the sun roof module (SRM).
Central electronic module (CEM) controls the function global / closing of window and sunroof. Central electronic module (CEM) sends request for global opening/closing of sunroof via directly connected signal cable to Sun roof module (SRM).
The diagnostic trouble code (DTC) is stored if the control module detects that:
- Signal too high from the output.
The control module's test for the diagnostic trouble code (DTC) starts in the event of:
- Control module supplied with power.
- Attempt to operate the sun roof.

Note! The control module can only detect the fault once the test has been started and the diagnostic trouble code (DTC) is stored when the conditions are met.

Substitute value
- The function (the output) turns off during the driving cycle when fault is detected. The function (the output) switches off permanently after 100 operating cycles where the fault was detected. Erasing trouble codes as well as start of new driving cycle resets the output.

- Short-circuit to supply voltage in the cable.
