Diagnostic Trouble Code (DTC) Information
Diagnostic trouble code (DTC) information CEM-B112A14
Condition
Central electronic module (CEM) checks activation of a distribution relay in the rear relay box. Relay activated at ignition on.
The diagnostic trouble code (DTC) is stored if the control module detects that:
- The output to the relay winding is short-circuited to ground.
- The output to the relay winding has an open circuit.
The control module's test for the diagnostic trouble code (DTC) starts in the event of:
- Ignition on.
Note! The control module can only detect the fault once the test has been started and the diagnostic trouble code (DTC) is stored when the conditions are met.
Substitute value
- The function switches off permanently after 100 operating cycles where the fault was detected. Erasing diagnostic trouble codes (DTCs) resets the result.
Possible source
- Short-circuit to ground in the cable.
- Open-circuit in the cable.
Fault symptom[s]
- Battery discharges
- All wheel drive doesn't work
- Four-C function not working
