Diagnostic Trouble Code (DTC) Information
Diagnostic trouble code (DTC) information CEM-B108D23
Condition
At the start button there are two switches to indicate the button's position. Switch 1 is directly connected to Central electronic module (CEM) and to Engine control module (ECM). Breaker 2 is a directly connected control signal to central electronic module (CEM). Both switches shall close when the start button is pressed in. As acknowledgement that engine control module (ECM) has received the signal when witch 1 closes, an acknowledgement is sent to Central electronic module (CEM) via the CAN-net.
The diagnostic trouble code (DTC) is stored if the control module detects that:
- Central electronic module (CEM) registers a closing of switches by the start button without acknowledgement from Engine control module (ECM).
The control module's test for the diagnostic trouble code (DTC) starts in the event of:
- Pressing of start button.
Note! The control module can only detect the fault once the test has been started and the diagnostic trouble code (DTC) is stored when the conditions are met.
