Diagnostic trouble code (DTC) information

Condition
Passenger door module (PDM) both sends and receives information via a standardized serial communication method - LIN (Local Interconnect Network). The following components communicate on the LIN bus:
- Left rear door module (LDM) or Right rear door module (RDM), depending on whether the vehicle is right or left hand drive.
The diagnostic trouble code (DTC) is stored if the control module detects that:
- Signal missing.
The control module's test for the diagnostic trouble code (DTC) starts in the event of:
- Control module supplied with power.

Note! The control module can only detect the fault once the test has been started and the diagnostic trouble code (DTC) is stored when the conditions are met.

- None.

Possible source
- Open-circuit in the communication cable.
- Short-circuit to ground in the communication cable.
- Contact resistance, oxidation or poor contact in connections.
- Open-circuit in terminals.
- Short-circuit in connections.

Fault symptom[s]
- Electrical operated window/No/reduced/incorrect function
- Doors/Power locking (button in door panel) does not work
- Locking/unlocking/Central locking does not work
- Switch indication/Does not work
