Diagnostic trouble code (DTC) information

Condition
Driver door module (DDM) both sends and receives information via a standardized serial communication method - LIN (Local Interconnect Network). The following components communicate on the LIN bus:
- Left rear door module (LDM) or Right rear door module (RDM), depending on whether the vehicle is right or left hand drive.
- Switch panel in driver's door
The diagnostic trouble code (DTC) is stored if the control module detects that:
- Faulty signal
The control module's test for the diagnostic trouble code (DTC) starts in the event of:
- Control module supplied with power.

Note! The control module can only detect the fault once the test has been started and the diagnostic trouble code (DTC) is stored when the conditions are met.
