Diagnostic Trouble Code (DTC) Information
Diagnostic trouble code (DTC) information CEM-B104322
Condition
The central electronic module (CEM) checks the signals from the position sensors.
The diagnostic trouble code (DTC) is stored if the control module detects that:
- The signal from the front position sensor is greater than 97 % of the supply voltage.
The control module's test for the diagnostic trouble code (DTC) starts in the event of:
- Voltage supplied sensor.
- Vehicles without Four-C.
Note! The control module can only detect the fault once the test has been started and the diagnostic trouble code (DTC) is stored when the conditions are met.
Substitute value
- Shortest headlamp range will be used.
- Side control freezes straight ahead.
Possible source
- Short-circuit to battery voltage in the signal cable to the front / rear position sensor.
- Open-circuit in the ground lead to position sensor.
- Damaged sensor.
Fault symptom[s]
- Headlights/Vertical adjustment not influenced by steering wheel
- Headlights/Headlight aim is off
