Preparatory work

Ignition off




Ignition off.
Fold out the right-hand side panel in the cargo compartment. See: Side panel loadspace Side Panel Load space.

Removal

Removing the Traffic message channel module (TMC)





Remove:
- the connectors
- the 2 screws
- the control module.

Installation

Note! For tightening torques, see: Tightening torque [1][2]Specifications.

Installing the Traffic message channel module (TMC)

Note! Check that there is no dirt in the optical connectors.

Install:
- the control module
- the 2 screws
- the connectors.

Finishing

Installing side panel cargo compartment
Install the right-hand side panel in the cargo compartment. See: Side panel loadspace Side Panel Load space.

Programming the Traffic message channel module (TMC)
Program the new control module.
