Preparatory work

Removing the control module
Remove the transmission control module (TCM). See: Transmission Control Module (TCM), B5254T7, AW55-50/51SN Transmission Control Module (TCM).

Removal

Removing the sealing ring




Remove the old sealing ring. Use a small, well-rounded screwdriver.

Caution! Do not damage the shaft.

Installation

Installing the sealing ring




Lubricate the sealing ring using ATF oil.
Install the sealing ring. Use drift 999 5476 PUNCH 999 5476 Punch.

Finishing

Installing the control module
Install the transmission control module (TCM). See: Transmission Control Module (TCM), B5254T7, AW55-50/51SN Transmission Control Module (TCM).
