A door cassette has been developed to facilitate the assembly of the door. All the functions installed in the door are located on a metal plate:
- the lock
- the power window mechanism
- the glass channel
- the loudspeaker
- the driver door module (DDM) / passenger door module (PDM) and motor
- the door cable harness
- side impact sensor, C30 only
- the weatherstrip, to separate the wet side of the door from the dry side.
The cassettes for the front doors (1) and the rear doors (2) are a different shape. The right and left-hand door cassettes are mirror images of each other.
The cassette is checked and ready on delivery from the manufacturer.
In the event or repairs, it is possible to replace each part individually.
