Door cassette




The purpose of the door cassette is to:
- facilitate the work of installing all the components in the door
- check all the functions before assembly in production
- seal, separate the wet side of the door from the dry side.
Two of the holes in the cassette are used to provide access for removing the glass from the window lift mechanism.

Multi-function bracket




The multi-function bracket:
- is the holder for the lock until the lock is installed in the door
- is the holder for the inner bracket for the exterior handle until the bracket is installed in the door
- routes water away from the lock
- protects against theft
- is the glass channel for the window.

Edge trim (plastic carrier)




Edge trim is located in the holes to:
- seal
- protect the cable harness at the grommet
- prevent cuts during installation or replacement.
