Information

- Read through all of the instructions before starting installation.
- Notifications and warning texts are for your safety and to minimize the risk of something breaking during installation.
- Ensure that all tools stated in the instructions are available before starting installation.
- Certain steps in the instructions are only presented in the form of images. Explanatory text is also given for more complicated steps.
- In the event of any problems with the instructions or the accessory, contact your local Volvo dealer.

Where the procedure differs, the right-hand version is also shown with text and image.




Set the ignition key to position 0.

Removal




Remove the panel.




Remove the clip.












Remove the panel.




Remove the screw.




Remove the screws.




Remove the panel.








Disconnect the connectors.




Detach the panel.




Unhook the clip(s).








Measure and mark as illustrated.












Center the holes against each other.





Note! Ensure that the part is correctly positioned against the panel's surface.

Drill the holes.




Install the screws.








Remove the screws.




Adjust the cable length so that the marking ends up as displayed in the image.

Right-hand drive vehicles




Adjust the cable length so that the marking ends up as displayed in the image.

All vehicles




Install the screws.




Fold the insulation to one side.

Pull the wiring through.












Install the panel.




Remove the panel.




Disconnect the connector.




Fold the carpet to the side.

Pull the wiring through.








Tear off the excess foam tape.




Connect the connectors.




Connect the connector.








Install the panel.








Remove the panel.
Remove the screws.
Torque: Front seat to body, 40 Nm








Remove the panel.




Remove the screws.
Torque: Front seat to body, 40 Nm












Fold the carpet to the side.




Route the cable harness to the existing cable harness.








Place any excess inside the floor carpet.




Fold the floor carpet back.




Connect the connectors.




Tear off the excess foam tape.




Reinstall the removed parts in reverse order.
