Condition




The trailer module (TRM) checks the signal in the cable from the vehicle right-hand stop lamp. The trailer module (TRM) also checks messages on the CAN network from the central electronic module (CEM) regarding braking the vehicle.
If the control module registers too great a time difference between the signal from the vehicle right-hand stop lamp and the message on the CAN network, this is registered in the control module. The diagnostic trouble code (DTC) is stored if this is repeated a number of times.
The diagnostic trouble code (DTC) can be diagnosed in ignition positions 0, I, II and III.
