Calibration fault

Calibrating the position sensor in the transmission control module (TCM)




- Check that the transmission cable is correctly adjusted. Adjust if necessary
- Ignition on
- Place the gear selector lever in neutral position (N).
Activate calibration of the position sensor in the transmission control module (TCM) by clicking on the VCT2000 symbol.

- Ignition off
- Wait two minutes
- Ignition on
- Move the gear selector several times to all gear positions
- Read off the diagnostic trouble codes (DTCs) by clicking on the VCT2000 symbol.
If the relevant diagnostic trouble code (DTC) is still stored, replace the transmission control module (TCM).
