Diagnostic Trouble Code (DTC) Information
Diagnostic trouble code (DTC) information TCM-0123
Condition
The solenoids are controlled by power stages in the transmission control module (TCM). The transmission control module (TCM) opens the power stages to activate the solenoids and sends a voltage through the circuit.
The diagnostic trouble code (DTC) is stored if the transmission control module (TCM) registers that the measured current value is higher than the value permitted in the circuit for solenoid SLU.
The diagnostic trouble code (DTC) can be diagnosed when the ignition is switched on.
Substitute value
- Emergency program Emergency mode 1 in the transmission control module (TCM) has been initiated
- The transmission control module (TCM) sends a signal regarding a torque limitation of 150 Nm to the engine control module (ECM) to avoid slipping lock-up.
Hint: Emergency mode in the event of a fault Emergency Mode In the Event of A Fault
Possible source
- Short-circuit to supply voltage in the cable
- The linear pressure solenoid does not work
- Internal fault in the transmission control module (TCM).
Fault symptom[s]
- General warning lamp lit
- Malfunction indicator lamp (MIL) lit
- Abnormal slipping gear shifting
- Harsh gear shifting
- No shifting.
