Diagnostic Trouble Code (DTC) Information
Diagnostic trouble code (DTC) information TCM-010F
Condition
Lock-up solenoid SLU controls the transmission lock-up function. Solenoid SLU operates when it receives voltage from the transmission control module (TCM) and is activated under different driving conditions depending on road speed, throttle position and the driving mode selected. The diagnostic trouble code (DTC) is stored if the transmission control module (TCM) registers that the current through the circuit to the solenoid SLU is too low when the solenoid should be activated. Solenoid SLU cannot then be activated.
The diagnostic trouble code (DTC) can be diagnosed during gear shifting when the lock-up function is activated.
Substitute value
- Emergency program Emergency mode 3 in the transmission control module (TCM) has been initiated.
Hint: Emergency mode in the event of a fault Emergency Mode In the Event of A Fault
- No torque limiting.
Possible source
- Contact resistance in the terminals
- Open-circuit in the cable for the control signal or signal ground
- The solenoid does not function
- Fault in the transmission control module (TCM).
Fault symptom[s]
- General warning lamp lit
- Malfunction indicator lamp (MIL) lit
- Harsh gear shifting
- No shifting
- Abnormal slipping gear shifting.
