Condition




The diagnostic trouble code (DTC) is stored if the transmission control module (TCM) registers that the power supply to the control module is below approximately 9 V or above 18 V.
The diagnostic trouble code (DTC) can be diagnosed when the engine is running.

Substitute value
- Blocking adaptation
- Blocking lock-up
- Blocking slipping lock-up
- Emergency program Emergency mode 1 in the transmission control module (TCM) has been initiated.

Possible source
- Battery voltage too low
- Contact resistance or oxidation in the connectors on the transmission control module (TCM) or in the connectors on the transmission
- Battery charger with incorrect voltage has been used
- Internal fault in the transmission control module (TCM).

Fault symptom[s]
- Malfunction indicator lamp (MIL) lit
- General warning lamp lit.
