Condition




The steering wheel module (SWM) continuously checks the system components. The diagnostic trouble code (DTC) is stored if the micro processor or steering wheel module (SWM) registers that the Volume- button has been activated for more than 60 seconds.
The diagnostic trouble code (DTC) can be diagnosed when the ignition is switched on.

Fault symptom[s]
- The volume changes without the volume up or volume down buttons being manually activated
- The radio buttons on the steering wheel do not function
- The carphone buttons on the steering wheel do not work.
