Condition




The steering wheel module (SWM) continuously checks the system components. The diagnostic trouble code (DTC) is stored if the steering wheel module (SWM) registers that the single sweep, high speed wipe and intermittent wipe switches on the windshield wiper stalk are activated simultaneously for more than 2.5 seconds.
The diagnostic trouble code (DTC) can be diagnosed when the ignition is switched on.

Substitute value
- If the windshield wipers are in the active position, the wipers operate at lowest speed.

Possible source
- The single sweep, high speed wipe and intermittent wipe switches are activated for more than 2.5 seconds at the same time.

Fault symptom[s]
- The wipers only operate at low speed.
