Condition




The steering wheel module (SWM) continuously checks the system components. The diagnostic trouble code (DTC) is stored if the control module registers that the single sweep and intermittent wiping switches on the windshield wiper stalk are activated simultaneously for more than 2.5 seconds.
The diagnostic trouble code (DTC) can be diagnosed when the ignition is switched on.
