Diagnostic trouble code (DTC) information SRS-E010

Condition
The supplemental restraint system module (SRS) compares the battery voltage to the supplemental restraint system module (SRS) with the battery voltage to the central electronic module (CEM).
The diagnostic trouble code (DTC) is stored if the supplemental restraint system module (SRS) registers that the battery voltage to the central electronic module (CEM) is significantly higher than the battery voltage to the supplemental restraint system module (SRS) for longer than 10 seconds.
The diagnostic trouble code (DTC) can be diagnosed in ignition positions I, II or III.

Substitute value
- None.

Possible source
- The battery voltage to the central electronic module (CEM) is more than 2 V higher than the battery voltage to the supplemental restraint system module (SRS).

Fault symptom[s]
- The information lamp is lit
- SRS warning message displayed.
