Condition
The supplemental restraint system module (SRS) checks the signal to the occupant weight sensor (OWS) and to the passenger airbag switch.
The diagnostic trouble code (DTC) is stored if the control module registers an invalid combination for longer than 2.5 seconds.
The diagnostic trouble code (DTC) can only be diagnosed when the ignition is switched on (12 V). In other words, the diagnostic trouble code (DTC) can only be diagnosed when the ignition is switched from position 0 to positions I, II or III.

Hint: Either a passenger airbag switch or occupant weight sensor (OWS) will be installed, depending on the market.
