Diagnostic trouble code (DTC) information SRS-013A

Condition
The supplemental restraint system module (SRS) checks the collision signal to the central electronic module (CEM) and the phone module (PHM).
The diagnostic trouble code (DTC) is stored if the control module registers a communication fault in the signal cable for longer than 2.5 seconds.
The diagnostic trouble code (DTC) can be diagnosed in ignition positions I, II or III.

- Open-circuit or contact resistance in the signal cable or in the connectors between the supplemental restraint system module (SRS), the central electronic module (CEM) and the phone module (PHM)
- Short-circuit to ground in the signal cable or in the connectors between the supplemental restraint system module (SRS), the central electronic module (CEM) and the phone module (PHM)
- Short-circuit to power supply in the signal cable or in the connectors between the supplemental restraint system module (SRS), the central electronic module (CEM) and the phone module (PHM).

Fault symptom[s]
- The information lamp is lit
- SRS warning message displayed.
