Diagnostic Trouble Code (DTC) Information

Diagnostic trouble code (DTC) information SRS-0116

Condition

Note! Fault tracing for the diagnostic trouble code (DTC) should be performed first, if the diagnostic trouble code (DTC), SRS-0112, is also stored. After fault-tracing for diagnostic trouble code (DTC) SRS-0112, the diagnostic trouble codes (DTCs) in the SRS system must be erased. Then check to see if the diagnostic trouble codes (DTCs) that indicate the Occupant weight sensor (OWS) are stored again.

The supplemental restraint system module (SRS) checks the signal from the occupant weight sensor (OWS).
The diagnostic trouble code (DTC) is stored if the control module registers a parameter fault in the signal cable for longer than 10 seconds.
The diagnostic trouble code (DTC) can be diagnosed in ignition positions I, II or III.
