Condition




The Supplemental restraint system module (SRS) checks the signal from the front seat belt buckles.
The diagnostic trouble code (DTC) is stored if the control module registers a short-circuit for longer than 2.5 seconds.
The diagnostic trouble code (DTC) can be diagnosed in ignition positions I, II or III.

- None.

Possible source
- Short-circuit in the connector or in the signal cables between the driver's seat belt buckle and the passenger seat belt buckle.

Fault symptom[s]
- The information lamp is lit
- SRS warning message displayed.
