Condition




The supplemental restraint system module (SRS) checks the signal from the passenger seat belt buckle.
The diagnostic trouble code (DTC) is stored if the control module registers a configuration fault in the signal cable for longer than 2.5 seconds.
The diagnostic trouble code (DTC) can be diagnosed in ignition positions I, II or III.

Possible source
- If the supplemental restraint system module (SRS) identifies that a passenger seat belt buckle is installed, despite the control module being programmed that a passenger seat belt buckle is not installed.

Fault symptom[s]
- The information lamp is lit
- SRS warning message displayed.
