Condition




The supplemental restraint system module (SRS) checks the signal from the front left side impact airbag.
The diagnostic trouble code (DTC) is stored if the resistance in the signal cable is between 1-6 ohms for longer than 2.5 seconds.
The diagnostic trouble code (DTC) can only be diagnosed when the ignition is switched on (12 V). In other words, the diagnostic trouble code (DTC) can only be diagnosed when the ignition is switched from position 0 to positions I, II or III.

- If the supplemental restraint system module (SRS) identifies that a front left side impact airbag is installed, despite the control module being programmed that it is not installed.
