Condition




The supplemental restraint system module (SRS) checks the signal from the passenger airbag, stage 2.
The diagnostic trouble code (DTC) is stored if the resistance in the ignition cable is between 1-6 ohms for longer than 2.5 seconds.
The diagnostic trouble code (DTC) can only be diagnosed when the ignition is switched on (12 V). In other words, the diagnostic trouble code (DTC) can only be diagnosed when the ignition is switched from position 0 to positions I, II or III.

Possible source
- If the supplemental restraint system module (SRS) identifies that a passenger airbag stage 2 is installed, despite the control module being programmed that it should not be installed.
