Condition




The supplemental restraint system module (SRS) checks the signal from the tensioner for the driver's lap belt.
The diagnostic trouble code (DTC) is stored if the resistance in the ignition cable is between 1-6 ohms for longer than 2.5 seconds.
The diagnostic trouble code (DTC) can only be diagnosed when the ignition is switched on (12 V). In other words, the diagnostic trouble code (DTC) can only be diagnosed when the ignition is switched from position 0 to positions I, II or III

Possible source
- If the supplemental restraint system module (SRS) identifies that a tensioner for the driver's lap belt is installed, despite the control module being programmed that one is not installed.

- SRS indicator lamp lit
- SRS warning message displayed.
