Condition




The supplemental restraint system module (SRS) checks the signal from the tensioner for the driver's lap belt.
The diagnostic trouble code (DTC) is stored if the control module registers that the voltage in the ignition cable is too high for longer than 2.5 seconds.
The diagnostic trouble code (DTC) can be diagnosed in ignition positions I, II or III.

- None.

Possible source
- Short-circuit to the power supply in the SRS ignition cable or in the connectors between the supplemental restraint system module (SRS) and the tensioner for the driver's lap belt.

Fault symptom[s]
- SRS indicator lamp lit
- SRS warning message displayed.
