Condition




The supplemental restraint system module (SRS) checks the signal from the driver airbag, stage 1.
The diagnostic trouble code (DTC) is stored if the resistance in the signal cable is between 1-6 ohms for longer than 2.5 seconds.
The diagnostic trouble code (DTC) can only be diagnosed when the ignition is switched on (12 V). In other words, the diagnostic trouble code (DTC) can only be diagnosed when the ignition is switched from position 0 to positions I, II or III.

Possible source
- If the supplemental restraint system module (SRS) identifies that a driver's airbag is installed, despite the control module being programmed that a driver's airbag is not installed.

- SRS indicator lamp lit
- SRS warning message displayed.
