Checking the power supply
- Ignition off.
- Unplug connector A for the power seat module left (PSL).
- Ignition on.
Check the voltage feed to Power seat module left (PSL) by:
- Measure voltage between #A1 and #A7 on connector A for the power seat module left (PSL).
- Measuring the battery voltage.
If the difference is greater than 2.5 V between the voltage feed for power seat module left (PSL) and battery voltage, the malfunction is in the feed cable or is caused by contact resistance. Also check the fuse for power seat module left (PSL). A half burned fuse can cause intermittent faults.
If the difference is less than 2.5 V, there may be an internal problem in the power seat module left (PSL).
Remedy as necessary.
