The diagnostic trouble code (DTC) is stored when the door mirror heater is activated and the control module registers at the same time an open-circuit in the cable, or voltage in the cable.

Possible source
- Open-circuit in the signal cable
- Short-circuit to supply voltage in the signal cable.

Fault symptom[s]
- The power door mirror heater does not function
- The door mirror heating is always on
- The battery discharges.
