Condition




Parking Assistance Module (PAM) checks the signal from parking sensor 3.
The diagnostic trouble code (DTC) is stored if the control module registers that the voltage in the signal cable is too high.
The diagnostic trouble code (DTC) can be diagnosed at ignition switch position II.

- None.

Possible source
- Short-circuit to supply voltage in the signal cable or the connectors between the parking assistance module (PAM) and parking sensor 3
- Short-circuit to supply voltage in parking sensor 3.
- Open circuit in the ground cable or in the connectors between the parking assistance module (PAM) and parking sensor 3.

Fault symptom[s]
- The information lamp is lit
- Message in the display.
