Short-Circuit to Ground

Short-circuit to ground

Checking the component
The infotainment control module (ICM) has registered that the signal from the infra-red receiver is too low.
If the fault is intermittent, it has been registered previously but is no longer present. Intermittent faults may occur at start up of the infotainment control module (ICM), or may be a different type of fault that occurs on different occasions. The fault is evaluated depending on how it occurs.
Check connector A. Check for contact resistance. Check for loose connections.
Check the signal cable between infotainment control module (ICM) terminal #A6 (#6) and the infra-red receiver. Check for a short-circuit to ground.
Remedy as necessary.
