Faulty signal

Checking the wiring








- Ignition off
- Disconnect the connector to the Integrated Audio Module (IAM).
Check the connections with regard to contact resistance, play and oxidation.
Check the signal cable between the Integrated Audio Module (IAM) and the left-hand speaker with regard to short circuits and open circuits.
Measure between:
- Integrated Audio Module (IAM) #A6 and speaker #1.
- Integrated Audio Module (IAM) #A13 and speaker #2.
If no fault was detected, replace the Integrated Audio Module (IAM).
Remedy as necessary.

- Reinstall the connectors, components etc.
- Ignition on
Check that the sound is heard from the speakers by testing the CD player.
