Signal too high

Checking the wiring








- Ignition off
- Disconnect the connector to the Integrated Audio Module (IAM).
Check the connections with regard to contact resistance, play and oxidation.
Check the antenna cable between the Integrated Audio Module (IAM) and the left-hand, rear speaker with regard to short circuit to voltage.
Measure between:
- Integrated Audio Module (IAM) #A6 and speaker #1.
- Integrated Audio Module (IAM) #A13 and speaker #2.
Remedy as necessary.

Hint: After carrying out the repair, check that the fault has been remedied.








- Ignition off
- Reinstall the connectors, components etc.
- Ignition on
Check that the sound is heard from the speakers by testing the CD player.

Are the speakers working?

Yes - VERIFIED
