Faulty signal

Checking the wiring








- Ignition off
- Disconnect the connector to the Integrated Audio Module (IAM).
Check the connections with regard to contact resistance, play and oxidation.
Check the signal cable between the Integrated Audio Module (IAM) and the speaker in the right-hand front door with regard to short circuits and open circuits.
Measure between:
- Integrated audio module (IAM) terminal #A4 and speaker terminal #1 in the right front door.
- Integrated audio module (IAM) terminal #A11 and speaker terminal #2 in the right front door.
If no fault was detected, replace the Integrated Audio Module (IAM).
Remedy as necessary.

- Ignition off
- Reinstall the connectors, components etc.
- Ignition on
Check that the sound is heard from the speakers by testing the CD player.
