Diagnostic trouble code (DTC) information HCM-2297
Condition
The Headlamp Control Module (HCM) is continually supplied with information about the current light conditions. The central electronic module (CEM) receives information about the prevailing light conditions from the twilight sensor.
The diagnostic trouble code (DTC) is stored if the control module detects that:
- Information about current light conditions from Central electronic module (CEM) missing.
The control module's test for the diagnostic trouble code (DTC) starts in the event of:
- Activated control module.
Note! The control module can only detect the fault once the test has been started and the diagnostic trouble code (DTC) is stored when the conditions are met.
Substitute value
- Headlamp Control Module (HCM) assumes that existing light condition is night (lateral control according to steering angle active).
