Diagnostic Trouble Code (DTC) Information
Diagnostic trouble code (DTC) information ECM-910D
Condition
The engine control module (ECM) receives a signal from the clutch pedal switch via a direct connection. When the clutch pedal is pressed down, the clutch pedal switch closes and thus grounds an input on the Engine control module (ECM). The engine control module also receives information on clutch pedal position from the central electronic module (CEM) via the CAN network. The central electronic module receives this information from the clutch pedal sensor.
The diagnostic trouble code (DTC) is stored if the control module detects that:
- The CAN signal from the central electronic module (CEM) indicates that the clutch pedal is depressed, but that the clutch pedal switch has not closed and grounded the input on the engine control module (ECM).
The diagnostic trouble code (DTC) can be diagnosed when:
- Engine on and vehicle speed over 2 km/h.
